It is not about a specific object, but it can show something(feeling, emotion) that can only be appreciated intellectually.
Formative Abstruction
Focus on the treatment of visual fundamentals; color, form, space. There is an inextricable link between conceptual applications and technological advances, which raises complex and challenging questions.
Conceptual Abstruction
Challenge traditional film narrative, using metaphor and symbolism. May not have predetermined results, but must be based on applied theory.
